2012, website, screening "22RUEMULLER, Act 0.3, a collective performance orchestrated by Jacques Lizene"; With REMIXE REMIXE & (S) ENCORENCORE confronts their art curation issues - constantly rethought according to the context (Acts) - to "institutional" exhibition devices. Born of privileged dialogue established with the curator Veronique Follet, the third act of the cycle is built around a name : Jacques Lizene, a Belgian artist famous for his nullity. Self-proclaimed "artist of mediocrity as an art attitude", Jacques Lizene never stops to produce since the 60s "loose, uninteresting, vaguely humorous, but generally stupid artworks, always rooted in a radical critique of the art system." www.22ruemuller.com/encorencore/acte03/

2012, Wild style cleaning, 480 x 360, 3:09, video "Wild style cleaning" reuses an original video taken from Youtube, which has a cleaner of a private company which cleans a wall of graffitis, in Brooklyn, New York. That video caught my attention because it uses some visual effects common to most videos of graffiti can be found on the web, acceleration, bad quality, zoom and zoom out, or the camera which keeps its distance to the graffiti artist. Graffiti videos are often accompanied by a soundtrack of rap music, sometimes mixed with the sound of the video itself, the sound of the street. The video of the cleaner has, on the contrary, a rather gentle guitar music, creating a disturbance and a shift in viewing the video, between image and sound. I wanted to play with these codes, in order to affect the meaning of the original video, and to destabilize the viewer. By adding a rap music on the soundtrack, associated with the street noise, we observe the different actions of this cleaner, thinking he will probably repaint the wall before the end of the video. The presence of the karcher and its use also increases the ambiguity, the tool can be assimilated to a spray can.

2012, Casquettes signatures, Le taon @ Ivry "Our daily life is saturated of derivative products. Artworks are no exceptions and cultural industries are particularly fond of license sales from a work which having already some success with the public. However, due to the study of this phenomenon, a new trend is emerging, up to question the notion of derivative product. Can we, in fact, still talk about products when three products based on the same universe are launched in parallel on the market? A new strategy for production of cultural products has a strong growth since the recent years." "Artwork becomes puzzles, mugs, umbrellas and other products, completed with a decoration always ready to immerse themselves in art." "In the Jean Margat's collection, Mona Lisa is discovered in hologram, pendulum - the hour hand is one of his eyes which takes place in his face twice a day - porcelain, dinnerware, or hat rack. Besides in commercials from around the world, his face is on boxes of candy in Argentina, on italian condoms, packages of spanish oranges, bottles of champagne, japanese cloths, and even on diagnostic kits for hepatitis B provided by the Institut Pasteur."

2012, Human Leaks, animated gif The idea is not to present HumanLeaks such as an artwork or as a contribution for the show (even if it is the case), but more like a real existing banner ad for a real existing website. By observing the evolution of the concept of privacy on the Internet and universal knowledge, through the main sharing platforms of private informations such as Facebook or Twitter, and Wikipedia or Wikileaks in parallel, we have seen, whether private, public or cultural, that any piece of information is good to take for the user. HumanLeaks aims to inform and provide a possible drift of this system. The creation and the apparition of a banner for a website who contains false accusations on people, open to all, is entirely possible today. Scandals in the tabloids, telephone tapping and disclosure of private informations are present in all of the medias. HumanLeaks is not here to report or to valorize such actions, but to show the thin barrier that separates the sharing of the privacy to the public, and the generalization of this deed to every human being.)
